It's almost time for the Super Bowl! Since I'm more of a college football girl I don't care who wins the game today, but I definitely looking forward to the party at our friend Mike's house. Yesterday Dan and I made chili - one batch mild and one batch spicy - as our main contribution to the Super Bowl buffet. I put all of the necessary ingredients together (meat, vegetables, tomato products, and spices), but Dan added the embellishments that made the chili unique. I'm not sure whether it will turn out to be dipping chili or eat-with-a-spoon chili, but either way I'm excited to see how it turned out. And then this morning I made some tomato basil bruschetta to add to the Super Bowl feast. Maybe it will help me get a little nutrition amongst all the yummy junk food today. It's going to be a good time, but I should have gotten up and gone to the gym this morning in preparation for the food. Once a couple of hours until kickoff!
