Today is a prime example of why I do my best not to be an obnoxious football fan. Even though Florida has been ranked #1 all season, I never assumed the Gators were going to win the SEC title. I was hopeful of course, but at the same time I was absolutely petrified they were going to lose to their BCS #2 ranked opponent. And unfortunately it turned out I was right to be scared. Alabama played like a championship team today and I'm rooting for them to win it all in January. (And I hope Mark Ingram wins the Heisman too.) I wish it could have been a Gator victory today, but as I've said before, anything can happen in college football. When the game was over I was pretty upset, but I stopped feeling sorry for myself when I saw Tim Tebow crying on the sidelines. That broke my heart. I just hope that the folks who are taking shots at Florida right now remember that more than likely your team doesn't have any bragging rights this year either (FSU and USC fans, I'm looking at you).
