I understand why the football games that are expected to be blowouts aren't nationally televised, but that means I never get to see any of the decisive Florida wins! While I'm very pleased that the Gators won today, I would really have liked to watch the game. It would have been one of those rare ones that didn't stress me out! But as I've said before, a win is a win, and hopefully I'll get a chance to watch the Florida vs. Florida State game next weekend when we're actually in Florida for Thanksgiving. GO GATORS!

Speaking of Thanksgiving, I started my holiday baking this afternoon. There's a loaf of cranberry bread in the oven right now. It's a new recipe I'm trying out that uses canned cranberry sauce instead of fresh cranberries. I'm skeptical (the batter is pink!), but we'll see how it tastes. My goal is to bring cranberry bread, pumpkin bread, and a couple of different kinds of cookies with us to to contribute to the Thanksgiving meal. And I only have a couple of days left to finish making all of those things! Hopefully this first loaf of cranberry bread turns out well so I can check one thing off the list. In the meantime I have to go do some laundry so Dan and I will have clean clothes to pack for our trip. So much to do!
