Even though I don't really care who wins, I'm watching the last few innings of the Angels vs. Yankees because it's been really exciting. Right now the Angels are ahead (again), but only by one run so it could go either way. And during the commercial breaks I'm catching up on nine years of Homestar Runner Halloween cartoons. Gotta love October! I took the day off from work because I wanted to get a few things done, but it didn't turn out the way I planned. As far as my belated obligations are concerned, I actually did get one important errand done today - I dropped off some clothes at the cleaners just a few minutes before they closed. This doesn't sound like much, but otherwise this day might have been a complete loss. I failed to pick up Dan's car at the BMW dealer today because there was still something wrong with it when I tried to drive it home. The good news is that they found the lingering problem and I can get it (or at least attempt to) tomorrow. I did make it to the gym for my aerobics class this afternoon, which is a good thing because I'm probably going to miss both of my usual Friday classes due to work obligations. I have to be in at 6 AM tomorrow and I suspect I'll be too busy to go to kickboxing at lunchtime. I'll bring my gym bag, though, just in case. But right now I'm just going to concentrate on relaxation and try to go to bed early. That's exactly what I need.

Don't care who wins!?!?

First of all, you're now an Angelino. If you adopted the Lakers, I think you should at least adopt the Angels in the AL. Or the Dodgers, which would make for a nice rivalry with Dan. Or the Rays or Marlins.

Second of all, the Yankees are evil, so if you would like to defeat evil, then you should root against them. As Dave Newell once said, "Rooting for the Yankees is like rooting for Ticketmaster."

I rest my case!
