It's been a strange college football season already. With all of the upsets so far it's proved that any team can be beaten and the worst thing you can do is underestimate your opponent. When a good team loses it doesn't make them a bad team - it makes them a team with something to prove. One-loss teams are dangerous. Last season after Florida lost to Ole Miss, Tim Tebow vowed that the Gators wouldn't lose any more games. And they didn't. He took them all the way to a national championship. Talk about a dangerous one-loss team! I try not to be an obnoxious football fan because you just never know how a game is going to turn out. Yesterday someone told me that Florida is only number 1 because they haven't played Penn State. I almost responded, "Keep dreaming pal," but I kept it to myself (although I didn't let the slight go without some kind of retort). As much as I believe the Gators would beat the Nittany Lions, you just never know. For now I'm going to watch the games each weekend without any expectations. Another national championship would be nice, but the season is still young. GO GATORS!
