It's another Thursday night and I'm faced with a long list of things that need to get done, but of course I'm sitting at my computer downloading songs from iTunes instead. And since my computer is in front of the television, I'm watching an episode of the sacrilegious new "10 Things I Hate About You" show while trying to transfer the original movie to my iPod at the same time. I love that movie and for some reason I can't move it from my laptop to my iPod. This is really ticking me off. And on top of that, I have the same problem with the copy of Twilight I downloaded. Something must be done.
Anyway, I've got two loads of laundry in progress at the moment and a counter full of dirty dishes waiting for me to wash them. There's a possibility that we'll have company this weekend and the house isn't even remotely prepared for it. As usual I feel like I'm way behind on my housekeeping duties, but I cherish my free time too much to completely fill it with cleaning. After making the house at least halfway presentable my plans for the evening include reading a book and getting as much sleep as possible before I have to get up to go to work tomorrow. The good news is that I'm only working a half day, but the bad news is that I have to take my car to the dealer for a service appointment in the afternoon. It's a long story.
