I didn't make it to work today. I was hoping that another day of rest would make going to work tomorrow less difficult. We'll see how I feel when my alarm goes off at 5 AM in the morning. One thing I did get accomplished this weekend was going through my old cooking magazines and bookmarking a bunch of potential Christas cookie recipes. I know it's a bit early to start thinking about Christmas, but when the holiday season does roll around I'll have a head start. Speaking of holidays, I gave up chocolate for Lent. No, I'm not Catholic, but I needed something to jump start my diet. My ultimate goal is to wear my rehearsal dinner dress to Mike and Lisa's wedding in May and I have a ways to go before that's possible. Today is day four without chocolate and I really miss it. When Easter arrives I can have a Cadbury Creme Egg, but not until then. And I've already decided to make a Mascarpone Cheesecake for our Easter dessert. It sounds soooo good! OK, enough talk about food because it's making me hungry.
