Friday, April 11, 2008 I just finished my Friday workout (TNT was showing King Kong rather than a Lord of the Rings movie which was disappointing, but it was still a good trip to the gym) and now I'm checking my email one last time from work before leaving for the weekend. Not having internet at home is a pain in the rump. (Many thanks to Danny Saunders for that phrase. It always makes me smile.) Tomorrow morning I am planning to hit the gym again before going to the Huntington Beach Barnes & Noble to meet Cassandra Clare, one of my favorite authors. I just finished reading her latest book and it was awesome. (Käthe, feel free to disagree with me on this one.) Dan has class tonight so I'm going to go home and watch a chick flick - the Masterpiece Theatre version of Jane Eyre that I checked out from the library today. I'm really looking forward to it. I need to do some laundry too or I won't have any clean jeans to wear tomorrow. Have a good weekend all! Posted at 7:28 PM, 1 Comments The Cassie Claire thing comes from being in fandom in a different way -- but the Very Secert Diaries still gets ref'd often, at least mentally, so just go with what you love! I can't wait to hear what you think of the Jane Eyre production. I absolutely hated the book and all other productions, but I think that one got it exactly right.
