Lauren's Webpage...home of the "Engineer/Troublemaker"

Monday, December 10, 2007
First of all, I am feeling a little better today, but I still decided to stay home from work and rest. Spending the whole weekend sick in bed with Dan away on a business trip was horrible.

Second, on Friday I was very excited to discover that the Columbus Laboratory, the Space Shuttle payload that I spent a lot of time working on during my first Boeing internship seven years ago, was scheduled to launch over the weekend on STS-122. Unfortunately NASA decided to postpone the launch until January due to a fuel gague failure. But this isn't such a big setback considering that the launch was originally scheduled for 2004! Waiting another few weeks doesn't seem like that big of a deal.

So many people I know (and all over the country!) have this mysterious and horrible crud. I'm glad you're on the mend, though.

And how cool are you! Lauren in Spaaaaace!

Muppet Show reference? Awesome!
Sickness? Not awesome.
Käthe? Super awesome!
