I've said it before and I'll say it again - private snowboard lessons are worth every penny! But more on that later. We made it to Mammoth Mountain last night around 10 PM after a very long drive. Today was our first day of snowboarding and we shared the slopes with quite a few other people who are here to celebrate New Year's. It was pretty packed. To try and improve my snowboarding skills, I spent two hours this afternoon in a private lesson and it was fantastic. I'm finally starting to link turns together and that's one of the most important elements of snowboarding. It's possible that one day I won't consider myself a horrible snowboarder!
P.S. One year ago today Dan and I got engaged!
