Lauren's Webpage...home of the "Engineer/Troublemaker"

Pictures from this weekend are now available in the "Snow Summit 01/22/06" section of my photo album. I'll write more about the weekend later, but for now I'll say that private snowboarding lessons are worth every penny. Even if they cost $100 an hour.

Let me just add this, as a helpful tip to your legions of fans, as well as you, Lauren: I used to think that ski/board lessons were just for the inexperienced, although I knew that they were worthwhile. But a few years ago, I went to Vail and got private lessons (I didn't pay for 'em). Now, at the time, I was a pretty experienced skiier - since I was a kid - but by no means an expert. After a day of lessons, I was approximately 10 times better. I can't even begin to explain it. So, yes, lessons are expensive (as is everything associated with skiing), but no matter what level you're at, I think they're worth it.
