Somehow these just seem wrong. First, the Prisoner of Azkaban trailer featured giant toads and no one can figure out why. They seem to be missing from the print version of the story we're all accustomed to. Second, I don't think it's appropriate for Aragorn to put Anduril in his arm pit. Isildur wouldn't be pleased. There must be a more dignified image of the future king out there somewhere.

Dan gave me a digital camera for Christmas and I've been trying to learn how to use it. My first attempts can be found in the "Digital camera" section of my photo album. I would have taken pictures of my entire apartment, but at the moment I've turned it upside down packing for my trip. Speaking of my trip, I promised to post a diary entry before leaving tomorrow. That's next on my list of things to do tonight.

I intended to write a diary entry as soon as my final exam was over, but it seems I've been procrastinating. I am working on it, though. It'll be finished and posted before I leave for Tallahassee on Saturday. I promise.

My final exam ended last night at 6 PM. Things I have done since then:
1) Sleep
2) Read a book (Goblet of Fire for the fourth time)
3) Christmas shopping
4) Post more pictures (from NYC and the Getty Center)

I am taking a break from studying tonight to add some pictures to my photo album. New to the "UCLA" section are two pictures of Sevan and me using a Bunsen burner to warm our hands. I wrote about this on November 17, but I figured no one would believe me without proof. And I knew no one would believe that I saw Orlando Bloom on Wednesday so I posted the pictures Dan took of him in the "Return of the King premiere" section. I have much more to say on this subject, but I am putting it in a diary entry to be posted as soon as my final exam is over.

Looking at the posts I've drafted on both my computer and my Palm Pilot, there are about five from the past two days (and one really old one that I refuse to abandon) waiting to be finished. They are all based on ideas, topics, and events that I considered interesting enough to write about in the first place, so I am eventually going to complete them for my webpage. Also there are several new pictures to post. But night now I am consumed with the end of the UCLA fall quarter. Speaking of which, I am teaching my last discussion section of the aircraft combustion course tomorrow. Thank goodness.

It’s December. I just pulled my first all-nighter to finish a paper for my combustion class. And now there’s only one week until the final exam. The good news is that I’ll be done with the class as soon as it’s over. The bad news is that study time is running out. And since my advisor is also teaching the class I have to pass. I don’t even want to think what’ll happen if I don’t.
